Kandhaa is built on the principle that you should never have to reveal your real identity to seek emotional support. We do not collect your real name, photograph, phone number, or social media handles. Your display name is the only identity you carry on our platform.

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

• Account data: Email address (for account recovery only), anonymous display name, age range, and city.
• Emotional profile: Self-reported emotions and preferences to enable matching. This is never shared with third parties.
• Usage data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is anonymised after 30 days.
• Chat content: Messages are end-to-end encrypted and are not read by Kandhaa staff except in response to a safety report.

Your information is used solely to: match you with appropriate peers, maintain account security, investigate safety reports, and improve the platform. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third-party marketing platforms.

Chat history is automatically deleted after 90 days. You may request immediate deletion of all your data by emailing privacy@kandhaa.com. We will process your request within 7 business days.

We use essential cookies only — for session management and security. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
